Washington Pavilion — More Space Campaign

File this under “Oldie, but goodie.”

When you were a kid, all it took to be a rocket-flying spaceman was a pasta strainer on your head, an empty cardboard box, and a little imagination. When the Washington Pavilion opened its Air and Space Exhibits at the Kirby Science Center, we knew a vintage-themed commercial reminding parents of that childhood wonder was the way to get people in the door. The results were… out of this world!

A few fun facts; the part of Space Dog was played by Jim & Kara’s trusty companion Monday (RIP). And they didn’t have to look far to find a room full of vintage mid-century modern furniture, that was already in their basement.
